Default Cleaning Maf sensor with isoproypl alcohol?

My maf sensor to my 07 civic needs a good cleaning. I just read on ehow to put the maf sensor in a ziplock bag and fill it with rubbing alochol. shake it up, and take it out and let it air dry. Wouldn't that mess up my Maf sensor? or does it really work? Any help is appreciated.

I used this:

Spray the sensor and let it dry.

you can but i wouldnt. use crc electornic cleaner or something similar. the MAF is very sensitive and i wouldnt risk cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, although i think people have.

Good to go man, but I wouldn't go as far as soaking it in a bag. I've used many solvents before and never had a problem.
