a/c compressor pulley making noise
I am hearing knocking from the ac pully , getting louder when it's a hot day .
Still not sure if i am hearing the knock when ac is off . . .
I see the armature plate moving slightly out of align to the exact knocking pace . ( when the ac is on )
Beside that i see everything else is moving in perfect align .... that is the belt wheel itself .
when i try to touch the armature plate ( when engine off ) i cant feel any loose or freedom . ( and not any freedom on the belt wheel itself )
What can it be ? is it possible that only the armature plate is defect ? why are there bolts on it ? ( it's possible that the freedom on these bolts is so small that i can't feel it's freedom by hand and only to see when it's turning and turning forces are applied on it ? )

This is not the alternator .And if you are implying that the belt needs to be changed and it caused the ac axis to bend ...it does not seems like that beacuse the belt wheel is turning o.k and aligned.
This is a 2008 honda CIVIC.
Someone knows why are there bolts on the armature disk ( so it's made out of 2 discs actually.) I think there isn't a chance that it's from the ac clutch bearing beacuse the belt wheel seems to be turning o.k.
Or am i wrong on that last diagnosis of the clutch bearing structure ?

Sorry, when we ask for car information, just saying Civic isn't enough. Is it an EX or such with the 1.8 l, or an Si with the 2.0/2.4 l engine. The parts are not interchangeable and allows us to narrow the field a bit.
