Alignment off after axle seal replacement?
I recently had my 12 si serviced and they told me my axle seal was bad. It's covered under the powertrain warranty so I had them replace it.
Now my steering is way lighter after turning in the direction of the seal they replaced. The service adviser told me that they didnt touch anything that would effect alignment but I'm not so sure.
Is it possible when they replaced the seal they messed with the strut tower or tie rod ends or something else and it threw the alignment off? I'm not sure what else would make the steering in that direction lighter.
Thanks

They could have bent the lower control arm taking the axle out, but they would have to disclose this to you.
