Wheel Bearings? HELP - 2011 Civic Si Sedan
Hey everyone!
So my question today is how can you tell if your car needs new wheel bearings or if your wheel bearings are bad? I have a 2011 Civic Si Sedan that has about 40k miles on it so it is fairly new. I drive very carefully and avoid dips and big bumps. But I recently noticed that some noise has been coming from the rear of my car or even underneath my feet area. I know for sure its not the front because my steering wheel does not shake while I am driving or anything obvious. The slower I drive, the more I can hear and slower the sound is, and the faster I drive, it gets a little less noise but can still hear it if you pay close attention to it and faster the noise goes. Could it be my wheel bearings? Or maybe just my tires? My tires are Kumho Ecstas that I put on about a year ago brand new. Any help is greatly appreciated!
