Default Weird pull..

Background- I had my 09 si sedan (it is lowered on progress springs, factory shocks) in for service on Wednesday.. nothing major, just oil change and tire rotation. Yesterday I got on the highway and I noticed the car pulling to the left. When I let off the gas it will track almost perfectly straight, but when I get on the accelerator it pulls pretty hard to the left.

I didn't notice this before I had my tires rotated, and that's the only thing different about the car AFTER service. For this reason, I would believe it has something to do with one or both of the tires that are now up front. But at the same time, why would it only pull when I accelerate?? I do need tires and an alignment, so I'm hoping that once I take care of that it will be fine.

I wanted to see if I could get some information on H-T before taking it back for service. Has anyone else experienced this at all?? Ideas?

Why don't you switch the tires back to the way they were and see how the car acts.

If the car drives the same you will need to check out your alignment, or for something bent in the front end.

Yea, I've just started to have that problem with my 08 SI, it was pulling to the left when adding gas, and goes straight when i let off... I took it into Sears for an alignment and tire rotation, it didn't fix the problem at all and actually made it worse, and they said that it was something called a, "Torque Pull". Now it pulls strong to the right. When I called Honda, and described the problem that i was having, they said that the car wants to pull to the shorter axel. I don't know what to do about it but I'm sure gonna try something... first buy new tires and alignment from Honda, and I'll see how it goes from there....

yeah man i'm in need of four new tires anyway, so i'm going to pick up some tires this weekend and have them mounted/balanced and have a 4-wheel alignment done also. I'll see what happens after that. The weird thing is, i've got almost 30,000 miles on it and i've never noticed it before. if it was torque-steer i think i would have noticed it a long time ago. plus, it does that when i'm cruising in 6th gear at like 60-70 mph. our cars have NO torque at 3-4000 rpm lol...

I notice the same pull after I put on my sports suspension. Its always to the left for some reason. Like you said even on the highway at 70mph.
