umm i have tein basics and i love the ride quality. but they do go pretty low when you take one ring nut off the perches. but beware the lower you go, the less ride quality you're going to have. your best bet is probably buddy club n+ or pro-c

I just drive to work and go out on the weekends. So i'm going with the Koni shocks and ground control coilovers. Just like the old days, like my hatchback

I've installed both the Buddy Club and Skunk2 coilovers on multiple FG's. IMO they are both good systems. They seem to be well built and have decent valving to go with the spring rates without spending 2500 or more on a coilover set-up. They also seem to be very supportive of they're products. I once got a set of Buddy's scratched up and they replaced them with no inconveince to my customer other than time. Skunk is just as supportive of their products and I like the ride a bit better on the skunks.
Not sure how low you want to drop the car but you probably want to check the maximum recommended lowering heights on what ever you buy as well to make sure you acheive the stance your wishing to attain.
Cheers

^yea thats true, but my ride quality is superior to pro-s. and im not bouncing like a 64 impala going down the highway like you would be on pro-s.
and fyi, the tein basics are modeled off the ctr, so with 18's the car would have the perfect drop.

And it's an FA1, LX, hence the drums. Si's and Ex's get front and rear discs.

Re: Best Coilovers/best ride for si sedan
That black Sedan is dropped on Buddy Club? Did he remove a locking ring? Does he have a system in the trunk? That rear is hella LOW.
I removed a locking ring on my rear spring perches and it's still not as low as that car. In fact it's just the right drop for me. Just a shade of "tuckness", but not super-slammed. Only thing I hate is that those perches hang very loose when I jack the car up and I have to be careful to make sure they're back in the correct position before I lower the car back down. Very tedious work.

Re: Best Coilovers/best ride for si sedan
pretty much just the exhaust, but the lip kit makes it look like an Si, because ive never seen an LX or EX with the lip kip, or lets say i never payed that much attention to one

But to address OP's question. There's a trade off for how low one can go while achieving a comfortable ride, and getting both does not come cheap.
