Default 2009 civic si mods

I just bought a 2009 honda civic si sedan. I have four thousand dollars left over to spend on some mods for the car. I need a little advice on what to do first. My main focus for the car is power. So with that in mind what would you guys recommend?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Turbo kit or supercharger, flashpro and a tune. If you want to keep it NA, intake, header, exhaust, flashpro and a tune.

A person who asks "what should I spend my money on" can properly turbo or supercharge a Si for $4K?!! Cheapest car ever if that's true. I doubt it, though.

if you really feel the need to blow through that $4k, an intake ($100-300), header ($300-600), exhaust ($200-600), flashpro ($500-700) + tune ($200), suspension ($600-1500), camber kits ($150), alignment ($???), sway bar ($200ish) will completely change the car. Given you can do some of the work yourself.

Buy used and you'll be on the lower end of the spectrum, and see what sales pop up. The only thing I wouldn't buy used would be suspension unless you're getting lowering springs, and then I would spend the money on Koni Yellow struts new.

since your main focus is power, have you consider stopping power? A relatively cheap upgrade would be the 1st gen TSX brake upgrade.
I did this to my FA5 for under $300, rebuild parts from junk yard with OEM.

It's only necessary if you going to track the car or else on the street you won't notice much of a difference!

Do not waste your time and money. If you wanted a fast car you should not have bought a civic. You should have gotten a factory turbo car like the new GTI or WRX or EVO. I just bought a 2009 si coupe myself and I realize it's a slow, DD, gas saver.

But then again I came from a tuned 135i (twin turbo inline 6) so it's going to be hard to find a car that feels faster than that unless I wanna spend a lot of money.

Dont get me wrong. A turbo/SC si CAN be fast. But at what cost? You are taking a car that is worth like 7 grand and adding another almost 10 grand in mods. You kinda are making a quick turd, like the SRT4 Neon. Because at the end of the day, the si is still a honda civic. Like the SRT4 is still a neon.

You could have gotten a used mazdaspeed 3 for like 11 grand and added a $400 tune and had a very quick FWD car.
