Default Was wondering....

I need to know the interval for changing the timing belt on an 04 LX coupe. It's for my future mother in laws car. Thank you in advance!

The new 'standard' is 105k miles.[should be listed in the owners manual maintenence schedule]
But if you do mostly city driving I would consider sooner than that, maybe like the old standard of 90k miles.

the interval was changed so that the 100k mile main't cost averages would look better on the consumer reports.

yea i say 90k also you might want to change the water pump and any seals in that area too just to cover your ***
