Default Who makes a 16x8 for our cars??

I am looking for a 16x8 so I can put some 235 Kuhmo R compounds or even 245 Hoosiers. I think I would need a 40 offset, but I can't seem to even find a 16x8 in a 4x100 any ideas?? Would 235s fit on a 16x7??

Dont forget, a 235 race tire is a lot wider than 235mm..... and 16x8s barely, i mean BARELY fit. Its all in the alignment, and even then, its no guarantee.

With that much tire I'd look at a +38 offset, and you will need to roll the fenders--especially in the back.

many people make 16x8's in a 4x100 with around a 40 offset, do some looking.

as for 235/245's i dont think ur gunna be able to run that big without some SERIOUS time spent on your fenders.

its going towards uncharted land. I found 225s on 8" rims to be a squeeze. They fit, and it clears everything, but a 235 R-comp is probably going to be another 3/4 to 1" wider.... which is adding a lot.
You can gamble with it, but you stand the chance of rubbing on both the inside, and the outside.

On 225/50's my 16x8's don't clear the front fenders without large amounts of camber. The front fenders get clearance issues faster than the rear quarter panels.

I have yet to see a 16x8 BMW wheel in 4x100.

Those are BBS knock-off's, with a BMW sticker on them. Not BMW OEM, bud.

Well it looks like I may be going with 225s then. Do you think they will fit on a 16x7 rim??

They could. I'd recommend a 16x7.5 rim, if you can find them.
