What type of grease can I use for the sunroof, the tracks need some, its closing slower, and the windows?

I got a good discount from Royal Purple, I know they make multipurpose grease, would it work for this application?

White lithium works nice. I use it on quite a few things.

lithium grease wears out in a few short months, I need that thick grease that's made to last a few years.

I assume its the general purpose automotive grease right?

i use dry silicone wax spray on my windows. seems to last a few months.

You're just lazy..

I find that thicker grease is typically a bit on the stinky side. I'm sure you'll figure something out.

ok, so I greased up the center window track and the window does not work any better.

do I need to grease up the two side tracks as well?

Your motor might be getting weak.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the rubber 'tracks' are supposed to be greased. I think those are just guides for the glass. I say this because mine looked dirty, but did not appear to be lubed. The center track, however, was lubed.

Use the silicon spray on the rubber tracks. Its for rubber. Anything else will just make a mess. The white lithium grease will work well at first but over time it will dry out and make things worse.
