Default Transmission trouble!

I have an 05 civic ex 5 speed with a spun imput shaft bearing.. Ive been looking for trannys but they are hard to come by for a reasonable price and having low miles. This brings to my main question that is can any D series tranny bolt up to any D series block?

Sadly, no. You'll need to find an 01-05 manual, preferably the 03-05 version (for durability). Why wouldn't you replace the input shaft bearing?

You can try and open up the tranny and replace the bearing yourself. There is a lot of videos on youtube.
