So... think this'll buff out? :(
My fiancee got rear-ended driving home from student teaching today.
I can't wait to hear what the response from my insurance agent will be in the morning.
It's actually worse than it looks. The entire rear end is curled in. It took a Toyota Highlander to the ***, propelled by a Nissan SUV (Four car accident)
I'm hoping they total it, and I can get a $1-3k buyback option, because beyond that it's immaculate. 22k miles on it, and I've had it since 1 mile.
Edit: What the hell? Is this seriously the first post I've made here? Huh... I could have sworn I've posted here before...

Oh, yeah, she's totally fine.
The only injury was the guy who caused the accident, a head injury from his airbags deploying.

dood honestly, I would be extra careful on who does the frame work for the back. The EM2 I have right now i bought from a girl...damn...she said she hit a post in the right-rear side. well the paint job is ok its not the right color but close. BUT...main point, the rear passenger side is still not aligned correctly and now I have to shut the trunk with a little extra "slam" to get it to close properly. I don't know if I'll take it in to fix it anymore lol not a biggie atm but eh.

Your girlfriend should have rolled out of the car and started screaming bloody murder that her neck was broken.

There's still time... where there's blame, there's a claim.
Sorry to see the car in such a mess, but at least your woman is ok. Plus, hello 1-series...

Here's another view of the trunk. Lovely, isn't it? I'll be taking it in for damage appraisal on Monday or Tuesday (Haven't set a firm appointment yet) and hopefully they decide to write it off due to the crumple zone damage.
This is the front end of the Toyota Highlander that was pushed into the Civic. I'm happy it wasn't worse, for its driver's sake, she seemed like a nice woman.
But then when you go to the back...
Oops. I guess I spoke too soon, it was pretty bad after all. The hatch wouldn't open, but hopefully the frame around it didn't get bent up.
And this is what happened to the SUV who hit the Highlander. The airbag went off, obviously, and gave him a head injury, so I never met him.
All in all, with the single injury, I guess the damage can be overlooked as "Not a big deal" in the grand scheme.

Re: (devani)
I got a call this morning from the body shop.
They're not done with the estimate, but they're up to about $6k so far.
Here's hoping it triples!
Edit: $6.x, I forgot exactly how much, but I'm pretty sure I'm selling it the instant it's done.
Frame damage in the rear, and they're just going to pull it straight.

the rear end looks like the character from the nightmare before christmas thats the main bad guy with all the bugs in him hahahaha
gl with insurance and good thing your girl is ok.
that highlander barely has any damage, but u can see that the highlander was slightly to the right when it hit the back of your girl's car. as for that nissan... wow.
was it raining when this happened? cuz i see the nissan's wiper is up.
cuz i've seen cars hit so hard the wiper goes off automatically.
