Icon2 Question about ECU and O2 Sensors

If I plugged in an O2 sensor for a Civic EX onto a Civic LX, would the ECU throw a code? Are the O2 sensors specifically made for EX's and LX's, and are they really not interchangeable?

36532-PLR-A11 EX sensor part number.

(36532-PMM-A01 LX sensor part numer.

Also 04-05 civics use wideband sensors that are much more expensive usually 200-350 new.

You can use a non wideband sensor as a substitute but it might mess up your car later.
