New head gasket
Just replaced head gasket on 05 civic. When trying to bleed cooling system after car reaches normal operating temp I get splashing coolant and then steam from rad. Never had this happen before. after this I let the civic cool down and then added more coolant and ran civic while pumping lower hose to try to push out all air. This seemed to do okay. Seemed like cooling system bleed just fine. I placed rad cap on after bleeding the system and then took it for a drive. About five miles down the car started to over hear and I could hear coolant boiling in overflow container. Both fans are working fine.
Anyone have ideas what could be going on?

Re: New head gasket
^and don't forget to put the hot/cold selector **** to full hot. Also,do you have a proper heat inside the car when the fans kick in?If yes there is no air in the system and something is amiss.Hope for you that it isn't the case.
