Default Installed new oxygen sensor now reads Code 134?

So i just installed my new oxygen sensor, replaced the original because of code 135 which is heater circuit malfunction, and now i have code 134, which means oxygen sensor inactive

Does this mean the oxygen sensor is bad??

Bad sensor, or it was installed incorrectly.

Have you tried resetting the ECU?

i erased the codes with a scanner. code would go away for a minute, then come right back, should i reset the ecu?
and it was a direct install, it was made for the car so i would hope it was installed correctly

Did you get the right sensor? Does the new one look exactly like the old one?

Has anybody heard Of a Civic GX? apparently it runs of Compressed natural Gas.
Im just wondering what the difference would be in oxygen sensor since the plugs are the same and how they are wired are the same.
