How do you replace the headlight assembly on a 2003 Civic EX?

Default How do you replace the headlight assembly on a 2003 Civic EX?

How do you replace the headlight assembly on a 2003 Civic EX? Do you have to remove the bumper cover? It looks like a real pain.

Yep, you have to remove the bumper cover. You'll need an extension to get to some of the bolts holding the headlight/headlight bracket. Other than that it's pretty straightforward.

bolt on each side going up into fender. few pop outs under the front bumper as well as 2 phillips screws. half dozen or so pop outs by hood latch. than grab the front bumper right in front of front wheel , and pull straight out , ittl pop out. same on other side , than pull front wards and it falls off. 10mm bolts holding headlight assembly to car. 2 on top , 2 under.
