Re: How do you remove EM2 back seat?? (spoonraker)
~fold it down.
~remove the bolts that connect the two pieces of the back seat (they are 10mm)
~pull the pieces out. they have pins that stick into the sides of the car.
~then at the middle of the bottom toward the back of the car is another 10mm bolt take it out and lift up on the bottom cushion
EDIT: that was written really fast but its not hard to take it out. a 10mm socket should be all you need

Nope, I'm just pulling the seat out to run wires to the trunk. I am doing a stereo installation, but there will be no rear speakers, I'll just leave them in and not hook them up

I think you misunderstood.
I'm not replacing the rear speakers, and I'm not keeping the stock speakers.
There will no rear speakers at all.

Why am I not using rear speakers?
I think a better question is why do I need rear speakers? Other than the fact that they throw off staging and create an unnatural sound, I don't need them. The stereo is for me, not for back seat passengers, whenever there is that many people in the car we just talk over the stereo anyway.
