Default Honda Civic 2002 Shift Lock Problem

I have been doing a lot research online about my shift lock problem with Honda's. I've checked the following items in my car and I still can't get my car out of park:

1) the brake switch (Good All brakes lights works)
2) the shift-interlock solenoid (Looks good and clean)

I am not getting any power going to shift-interlock solenoid or the automatic power light.

Please help! I've checked all of the fuses and they all look good.

You are haivng the same problem I am having. My hunch is that there is a relay some where up under the dash for the shift release because my brake lights work fine but there is not even a slight sound when I push the brake. I await the day when I push my brake in and here *click* ......aaaahhhh that will be the day. Try to check your horn fuse/relay. I havent tried this on my car yet as my car lives at someone elses house at the moment. but some people say they are related. Try it out and let me know how it goes.

Good luck!
