high beams not working.

high beams not working.
I have noticed that all of a sudden lately my high beams no longer work.
The low beams are still working, but when you click over the high beams you don't get anything. I checked the relay and tried a few others, but that did not solve anything. I got a test light out and the headlight fuses (in the engine bay) both have power when the low beams and high beams are on. The next test i did was to check for power at the headlight sockets... with the low beams on, the left and right pins had power, but not the top one. when i clicked the high beams on, all 3 had power. This made me believe that the headlight was what was bad. But, i bought a new headlight, and replaced it... and am still having the same problem?
I'm wondering if the headlight isnt maybe grounding itself properly, or something... because its really weird and i cant seem to figure it out.
any ideas?

I dont think that it would be the ground, cuz then they wouldnt work at all... But it could be that your assembly has some corrosion in the connector or somethin like dirt... which is what happened to me... and it doesnt work becuase it isnt making contact... But other than that I would have thought maybe the high beam filament burned out, but if you replaced it and it still doesnt work... then im not too sure.... Sorry I couldnt be more help...

yea, I cant see it being the actual connector only because i have juice in all 3 holes when the high beams are on... but for some reason, it doesnt power the lights. I'm just kinda lost since it has juice up to the headlights, but replacing the headlight still didnt fix it.

I saw the recall for the headlight switch, but that seemed to be only for the low-beams not working.

The car is a 2003. And the high beams used to work when i first bought the car in February... but it seems like at some point during fire season this summer they stopped working. So what pins should have power when the high beams are on?

and when the high beams are switched on... the Left, Right, and Top pins have power...
What am i suppose to have power to when the low beams are on?
the directions I am referring to as left means passenger side, right means driver side.. and top means the top horizontal in the center.
