Default help with 01 civic

I have an 01 civic for my son. It says EX, but the engine was replaced adn is from an LX. according to the dealership, the LX engine requires a different wiring harness and that is why my O2 sensors are showing bad. I replaced them both with no luck.

The LX doesn't have egr or VTEC and exhaust manifolds are different as well as position of the catalytic converter. Find out what you're are missing and determine what ecu you have.

They should keep the same exhaust manifold/system.
