Is the engine back in the car? That sucks, now you have to replace the water pump with a very tight space with engine in car already.
My engine/tranny is back in the car. New tranny, clutch, engine mounts, timing belt and roller and original water pump. 180k miles and good for another 100 miles. yippeee !

I removed the axle nut and removed the spindle knuckle from the strut and the tie rod to pull the axle out.

how do you disconnect wire harness and keep it with engine and trans when removing? do you need to get behind the firewall, or can you pull harness out and unplug? thanks

Re: engine and trans removal and install
you unplug the harness from the ecu under the glove box and just push the rubber grommet and harness out towards the engine bay
