I have a 2005 Civic Lx and I need to find out how to disable the door chime.

I wish it were that simple. The actually speaker that creates the noise is on the back of my gauge cluster. so i need to figure out how to bypass it

or you can just disconnect the door switch on the driver side door. granted youll loose your dome light when you open your door but you can allways manually turn that on

i think you can screw the sensor to be on the "closed" part forever, it will cut the blinking, but i dont remember what the part looks, or how to do it. i just know that my friend did it when he installed my alarm.

Problem Solved and I would not mess with the sensors b/c if i did that my alarm would not work properly.

DieMaster had it. thats what i did and it worked with no problems. Thanx
