Actually, I think the issue was not with mounting it to the head, but pulley clearance to the strut tower.

What pulley? Please tell me what pulley. Not that I want to do this swap I want to know what puley needs clearence. How could the intake swap cause pulley clearence issues.

Ok.. seriously guys.. He isn't the first to this swap or the last. I am very surprised he got the throttle body to fit like he did, but other than that, it's been done. I used a custom plate machined to fit the d17 TB and the IACV slot. I had some big problems trying to get this manifold to idle correclty with only a piggy back. With k-pro it works fabulously though. I don't know the differences in the engine in Turkey vs. the USDM d17, but the USDM ones have EGR. You MUST solve the EGR issue to keep from throwing a CEL. You either 1) use the d17 injector plate or 2) use k-pro. The firewall clearance isn't bad. You just have to move the AC line a little.

3. k-pro = Very expensive in turkey. apex-i safc2 I am useing

1. EGR = Kör conta kullanarak valf üzerinden iptal ettik. Problem yok.

2. İACV = Şu an motor soğuk iken rölanti düşük. Ben gaz kelebeğinden ayarladım. Flange kullanarak problemi çözeceğim.

3. k-pro = Türkiyede çok pahalı. Benim steup ımdaki kişiler için gereksiz. safc2 kullanıyorum.

just wondering but wouldn't having a d16 intake manifold on a d17 cause some restricted air flow?

i thought maybe the size of the outlet holes on the d16 manifold would be smaller than the inlet on the d17 head
