Default Coolant problem with 2002 civic ex

Hey guys. I bought the car Saturday, March 30th. Ran just fine on the way home from purchasing it. The day after I replaced the upper and lower radiator hose because it looked like the upper radiator hose was leaking, flushed the radiator (didn't take the bolt off the block and flush coolant from there, just did radiator ) , then burped the system of air. Pretty sure I got all the air out of the system.

I got it on the road Monday may 2nd and two days after that I checked under the hood just to see how things were and noticed coolant overflowed out of the overflow reservoir. Let the car cool down then checked the radiator and it was low. So I sciphoned coolant out of the overflow tank and got it to the right level and filled the radiator up to filler neck.

Two days later I'm in the drive thru and it starts to overheat, it only got to the boat line in the middle, didn't get any hotter than that, I cut it off right away, popped the hood and coolant was overflowed out of the overflow tank. I let the car cool off for a few and it drove home just fine didn't overheat etc. when I got home I let the car cool Down and once again coolant level high in reservoir but lower in radiator.
Replaced the radiator cap the next day and burped the system , but it's still getting higher in over flow but lower in radiator.

Note I didn't jack the car up really high in the air to burp it, just rolled the car back down a small hill where the front end was higher than the rest of the car. Didn't use a big funnel I've heard about to burp it, just left the rad cap off and let it run for two fan cycles with heat off.

There are no visible leaks unless it overflows from coolant tank. I have heat, the car is not Mis firing or throwing engine codes. Spark plugs were dry when I checked them. Car doesn't run hot, (unless I don't check the radiator for a few days and it gets low I assume it'll probably overheat again). Car runs really good, doesn't seem to have lost power. Oil and water is clean, not contaminated.
Rented a block tester from o rileys and the blue fluid didn't turn yellow (as if exhaust gasses were present).

When I let the car run with the radiator cap off, it seems as coolant levels keeps wanting to get higher and flow out of radiator.

One of my friends mechanics took the radiator cap off and told me to rev it and some coolant came out of the radiator and he told me it's the head gasket.

What do you guys think it could be?
I have no symptoms of a bad HG , it's just the coolant levels are acting crazy.
I don't see white smoke coming out of the tail pipe either. Pretty sure thermostat is OK because it doesn't overheat (if it was stuck shut) and if it was stuck open i wouldn't have heat right?

Thank you guys
