Cheap Alternative to Spherical Front Control Arm Bushings?
I've already ordered ES bushings for my brother's Civic, but stumbled upon MOOG K200799, about $23 a side from RockAuto.
Their bulletin shows it's a ball and socket style joint with a polyurethane boot and grease inside. With lifetime warranty, this seems like a good investment.
In combination with a polyurethane front control arm rear position bushing, would this not be an ideal compromise between reliability, performance and cost? The closest I could find to a spherical style was PCI, but theirs is a 2 year without dust boots. For everyday use, wouldn't a dust boot be ideal?
Looking for any opinions on this as I may get an EM2 for myself at a later date.
