Car is in limp mode, but why?
i have a question i just got a new motor in my 2001 Honda civic EX and the engine is a 2.7 V-Tec and i'm not sure if it's an '04 or '01 but anyways when it gets too about 4000 rpms and it starts jumping like crazy but i take my foot off the gas and its fine until it hits 4000 rpms again then it starts jumping again. whats wrong and what should i do???

What's the serial number on the engine? If it starts with a 4, then it's from a 2004 vehicle.
Has the MIL come on? (aka check engine light)
Have you scanned the car for codes?
Have you tried resetting the PCM?
