A/C ISSUES
I have 2001 Civic Ex Coupe which I have had A/C issues with since I purchased it over 6yrs ago. Each summer I have had to recharge my A/C system, yet it doesn't work much the first time, and not for more than 2 weeks after I have recharged it.
Before I shell out a lot of money, would anyone happen to know if it is my A/C compressor that is leaking, or is it a temp sensor?
Plz Help...
THANK YOU.

Re: A/C ISSUES
It could be anything leaking really. If you only have to have it recharged once a year then i wouldnt worry about it because it is probly a very slow leak which can be hard to find, thus expensive. But if it leaks out and blows hot in a matter of weeks then it could be easier to find and fix.

youve waited 6 YEARS to fix an A/C issue? Good lord. Check your A/C lines. Spray some soap water on them and crank it. Wherever it bubbles, thats where the leak is coming from.

Re: A/C ISSUES
if it has been leaking slowly over 6 years then follow all the lines. you dotn need to spray anything on them since you will see the oil residue coming from the area that it is leaking. 6 years of a leak should be easy to find.
the onyl hard part is tracing all the lines since some are hidin quite well.
