Does anyone know whether I can buy the same light bulb to use on my third brake light and on the side? My car is 2002 honda civic ex. thanks.

Center High Mount Stop Light Bulb

i called autozone and advanced auto, they said i need different ones. i called honda dlrship and bennett auto and they say i need the same ones. thx.

If it is the brake light bulbs, it is different than the high mount (third brake light) bulb. The brake light bulbs are 7443 and the high mount is a 7440.

The rear turn signal bulb is a 7440, which is the same as the high mount brake light bulb.

sorry, i meant i asked if the same bulb can be used for the brake light and the high mount and bennett auto and the dealership said yes.

The high mount (third brake) light bulb (7440) is a single filament bulb.

The left and right brake light bulbs (7443) are dual filament bulbs. They are dual filament bulbs, as they serve as both brakelight/taillight.

Although, the bulbs look somewhat similar on the outside, they are different if you looked at the filaments.

Ok, thanks. I'm going to go to the store tomorrow. These small bulbs are pretty pricey.
