60K mile servicing
Me old mom's 2004 value sedan is near the 60,000 mile mark. I plan to do most of the items on this list myself: techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/CV0404/CG0404O00020B.pdf as well as a throttle body cleaning and a transmission flush or fill and drain. A few questions:
1) Is it okay to wait until 120K mark to do a timing belt (kit) change
2) Automatic transmission: flush (machine) or drain and fill
3) Which coolant type and how many gallons (50/50 mix here in Florida)
4) Does it have an IAVC, MAP sensor, PCV valve ?
If I am missing anything please let me know.

2. Never flush, as that's a great way to ruin the transmission. Drain and fill.
3. Honda coolant, and I would buy 4 gallons for spares (its premixed).
4. Yes, yes, and yes.

Re: 60K mile servicing
60k service where I work for a 04 civic is, change air and cabin filter, oil/filter change, drain and refill transmission, rotate and balance tires, inspect brake/clean and adjust drums, valve adjustment and new valve cover gasket, replace pcv valve, new wiper inserts.
-at 10 years should consider changing timing belt/waterpump and drive belts and possibly spark plugs.
-use Honda coolant
-Honda doesn't recommend using flush machines
-also check condition of brake fluid
