I got the check engine light on and reading code p0135 which a is the primary o2 sensor. I replaced the o2 with a OEM denso but the light stays on. Thought it was a bad part but tried for the second time and no luck. Could thus be bad wiring or short some where or do I need my ecu flashed because its not reading my o2 or where should I start?? I'm sure someone knows..

Start by re-setting the ECM/PCM: With the car OFF, remove the #6 fuse from the under-hood fuse/relay box for at least 10 seconds

Is disconnecting the battery or resetting with the scanner the same?

I know you can re-set with the scanner but, don't know about disconnecting the battery.
