Default k20a3 conversion

i might be picking up a k20a3 for pretty cheap and i wondering if it was possible to convert an a3 to an a2 or a and what would be involved in converting it.

or should i not bother. and if so, i know a few people have the a3 in their em2s, how do you like it? is it worth doing or should i just flip the motor and get the k20a? or k24? thanks.

You can use a2 head parts, some k20a3's have swapped the a2 insides into em and made about 170-180whp with kpro i/h/e

good god 170-180? I would hope for more than that. with a kpro and i/h/e.. and a2 internals...

i/h/e and kpro gains on a k20a3 average around mid 160whp from ephatch.com

ive seen an a2 valvetrain with i/h/e and kpro in an a3 make 200-205 whp.

just got an 02 rsx base. i have a burned rsx type s engine. the internal still good.all da sensors are burnt. can i swap internal over? any additional work. this is my first rsx project. is it worth me swapping internal?

You'd be better off just buying new sensors for the Type-S engine (and anything else that might have been damaged from the fire), and putting the base-model engine in something else. Also, is this for an RSX? If so, you have the wrong forum.
