Can someone explain to me how to take off the exterior driver side door handle and key ensemble?

Yeah, once you take the inner panel off it should be pretty obvious.

its pretty obvious but unless u get the rods off and away from the locking assembly..your'e ****ed. I couldn't get the rod off the handle when i was replacing the lock actuator...its a bitch...but goodluck.

I got the two bolts off 10mm, and took off a two plastic washers and a metal one and it still aint coming off.

There's a retainer clip (looks like a bent piece of coat hanger) tucked behind the bracket that the cylinder mounts to. Have you removed it? You can access it just beneath the cylinder. Pull it down to remove it.


Then just pull the handle up, and out. (like you're opening the door)
