My wife has a 2001 Civic DX and the low beams doesnt work. I swapped in new headlights and that didn't work. Check the fuse box under the hood and they were good. All the fuses in the dash are good. There are two black fuses with no number that is in the fuse box under the hood that I believe is for the headlights. Do those need to be changed or are they good because the high beams only work.

HELP, please....

Im not too familiar with 01 and up hondas.

You swapped new headlights or bulbs? I'm not too familiar with these honda's too but usually the fuse for high beams is separate from the low beams.

My car as 4 total - Left low, Right low, Left high, Right high.

I swapped in new bulbs. Im not too familiar with 01 and up civics, but I checked everything possible and dont know why the low beams don't work.

Is it just one side low beam that does not work or both sides? also if the fuses (all 4) are okay then it is either your headlight sockets or your light switch is blown. check to see if any wires on the socket to the bulb are cut or shorting out anywhere and fix them.

I had the same problem with my civic, lows wouldn't work. There was a recall on the light turn signal stalk. I took it to the dealership and they fixed it for free.

Theres a recall for this the headlight combo switchs wiring harness will overheat and burn the wire the service bulletin is to inspect the connecter and one of the terminals will melt the connector if it's melted they have to replace the connector and cut and splice a new wire into one of the terminals and they also replace the combo switch.......don't pull anything apart alone this is the cause if you mess with it or leave evidence that you've been in there they can refuse to fix it for free......i'm a honda tech myself and have done several of these myself
