Default 01 civic oil pan replacement question

I was just wondering if anyone has replaced the oil pan on a 2001 civic and how hard it would be to tackle on your own or should i bring it to a garage.

Thanks,

piece of cake, assuming you know what you're doing.

do i have to let go of anything extra. or is it just the bolts on the base pan itself and not having to let go of any cross members or anything.

Thanks.

downpipe, transmission brace brackets and the pan bolts. if its an LX/DX you need a new gasket, if its an EX you have to clean the liquid gasket off and re-apply a new one when you install it.
