Default Canadian Tire - SRS Light and Coolant Issue

Got the oil change done from Canadian tire for my 02 Civic LX coupe (usually go to Costco or my mechanic).

Canadian Tire told me I need the following done

1) Coolant Flush
- ??? My car manual says that I would need this done after 10 yeras or 192,000 km. My car is currently at 140,000. Do I really need this done??

2) Brake and Clutch Fluid Flush
- I've got the DOT 3/450 fluid and need directions how to do this. I know there are directions on the net, but does anyone have additional comments, or directions for my car specifically?

They also told me I need 4 new tires. I got my tires in Feb and thread depth is 9/32 so I have no idea wtheck they are talking about. Maybe they wanted me to buy brand new tires from them????

Additionally, my SRS Light is on
- Is this related to air bags? The only thing i can think of is that, I was backing up my car once and hit a pole (lol.. 5% tint in rear didnt help 2AM sat morning). The light "DID NOT" come on right after that incident though...

So i need help with 1) and SRS light. If anyone can additionally comment on 2) that'd be awsome.

Default Re: Canadian Tire - SRS Light and Coolant Issue (vikas2k@hotmail.com)

Chain type auto shops have the ugly habit of trying to increase profit by recomending unecesary services.

Re: the SRS light. Our '02 CRV has this also. I haven't had it scanned yet, but there seem to be quite a few failures around that vintage of manufacture and most relate to a problem with the driver's side seat belt latch. I understand most of them are covered by the lifetime seatbelt warranty.
