Cool man. I lived in ny so i grew up with alot of jamaicans and people from the west indies. So i assume you have the accent? How does it sound when you speak german?lol im curious and i always wonder how do people of different nationalities learn different languages sound. Does your accent come through?

I barely have an accent, some people said they can hear it and some don't. I have no clue about the way my Deutsch sound, I've been struggling to learn this language for years, its the hardest language I've ever attempted to learn, very frustrating, I understand to an extent, but barely speak it, they probably have 5 dialects and it is ridiculous, you learn a few words and go to another area and it means nothing. you know like in English you can say a word the incorrect way and someone still understands? in German there are no near hits, the word must be pronounced the exact way with the exact accent, or it will not be understood, or mean something different, to me the speaker it sounds perfect, but if you ain't swallowing your tongue and haucking spitting it will not be understood. what makes it hard for us to learn the language is because we don't need to, unlike in the US English is a mandatory language in school for Germany, so every new age person speaks it. And when you are struggling to speak their language they will speak yours. lol. you made me do it again.

Wow, good read man! I started learning german like 3-4 years ago. I had the rosetta stone and i was pretty good at it. i lost the program, and my german pretty much became non existant haha. The german language is so alpha lol. Sorry to derail the thread.
