Default rim experts....

Ok..Im seriously considering buying Work equip 03 in black with 15x8 rims with 2" deep lip.I just wanna know what offset I should get ? The car is a 1991 crx si.
I dont wanna order rims unless I know 100% that it will be ok.
I will be using 195/50 15 tires, so its gonna stretch a bit over the rim.

Right now I have 15x7 et 35 with no problems at all.
Here's some pics of a car with similar style wheels I want in 15x8.

Not trying to threadjack, but I was just about to make the same thread but I figure it'd be more appropriate to just post here instead of wasting bandwidth. I too have been looking into getting a set of Equips and want to be able to keep my car dumped without worrying too much about rubbing. I don't use a camber kit so keep in mind the wheels will tilt inwards. I'm not about to spend $1500+ on a set of wheels either if I'm not 100% set on the offset.

I can remove this post if you want, but in the mean time: *subscribed*

Try this...

http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html

It's not gonna be totally accurate but close. Like the other guys said, bust out a ruler see how much room you have to play with and how much camber you plan on running.

u would have to figure out what u would want O disk all around or Adisk

O disc= 2 step lip
a disc= singal lip

if u look on the work super wheel website u can download the Adobe file of what custome offsets they can come in I WOULDNT SUGEST a 15x8 with a lower offset of +19 if ur gonna ride dump and its not like u have alot to pick from in O Disc the lowest offset u could go is +19 then it goes down into the 9's 8's 7's ect...

each car has their own "sizing". offset depends on the car and width you're using.
you just need to take out a ruler and start measuring.
Disc Face has alot to do with the look too. Then there's step lip and reverse lip.
judging by those pictures; i'm going to take a wild guess and say those are 15x8 +10
I think that green civic has 15x6.5 +19 (or +25)
Find someone with 15x8 +0 wheels. Try them on your car and start from there.

the 01 has 3 disc: 0disk, Adisk, Rdisk: http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/w....html#

NRG IS CORECT!!!!

but if i was gonna buy some equips i would do 15x7 in a +19 offset in O disc

if ur gonna slam it some real fender rolling would be key other then that 15x8 0 offset no way in hell can u rock that **** on a honda with out flares and to be honest with u the lowest i have ever gone is a +5 offset and straight looked like i just drove out of east LA son!!! and that i was where my fenders were pulled to where it was tot he limit of it

I COULD NOT TURN!!!!

is this ok ?
Current Wheel Width 7" Current Wheel Offset +35
New Wheel Width 8" New Wheel Offset +19

Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 3mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 29mm

well i had the work ewing emotions, they were 15x7+25 and i ran 195/50/15s and the car was fairly "dumped" and i only rubbed a little bit while making u-turns...but if u dont wanna worry about rubbing at all id just suggest a 15x7+38 or a 15x7+32 i wouldnt really go anywhere lower then that

alright. use a ruler. go measure your current wheels. add 29MM to the front of the wheel. and now add 3MM to the rear of the wheel. it gives you the idea what a +19 will be at.

Those wheels would transform your CRX, Rob. Good luck deciding what to get.

sicc 83 has the wheels (15x8 +13 offset)
+19 offset on my crx will work perfectly, but only +10 and +23 are offered with
0 disc is the 2" lip...
