uhh, wont that eat the plastic too. you need to use some NON-acetone nail polish remover. or if all else fails wet sand them with like 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper then buff and polish them

either way your going to get that streaked plastic burn...maybe... depending on how much paint is on there.... i would say just wet sand the tail light down after you get the paint off your tail lights... dry it.. get a quality can of clear coat and go to it.... will look new too there's some write ups on that .. just not sure where i saw it...

go to home depot & pickup this little bottle called "GOOF GONE" works wonders & not strong enough to eat the plastic.

I said used GAS.....I did it on a friend car. One of the OG in the hot rod told me...
I did on a CRX headlight and bumper light. Just take a rag or a paper towel and wet it with a little gasoline and it should come off easly.

Then clean after the paint comes off then used car wash soap and clean it .
Thats pretty much it.
Save your Money....Gas work fine....

Steel Wool. no joke. but you need grade 0000 the extra fine one. i used it to take off overspray on the windows from when i had my car painted. if your near the bay i still have some left. i dont think i'll need it anymore
