Ha, seriously, back in the day, at Pann of Escondido, we couldn't give those away. Pann was blowing them out for like 500 a set, and they just kept collecting dust

I remember seeing:

-Silver/polished lip
-white/purple lip</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yeah back when max boost clowned on midori green, and while people were swapping mustang headlights onto a pink eg hatch some people still had the common sense to think those wheels were ugly

Some people think for themselves, and buy wheels they like based on their own opinion, not what everyone likes.

what are you trying to say.? your post is cut up like a bad cell phone call
these were never considered jdm or rare: only on h-t
they have been pretty much easily obtainable. since 1997

while most people were off buying monsoons and tenzo shu shu's. The good stuff was lying on the shelf on clearance brand new. i.e: TypeX, sparco nsII, BBR comps, GAB, weds, RC starcks, Work RS series, Racing harts in 15", Precedeo.

Even the dam CPR's that are so coveted and "rare JDM" used to sell at Discount tire for 1200 bux brand new.

92 was well before you could drive at 27 years of age and since "it all" started in cali in the middle 80's when honda dealers were offering the mugen packages on the CRX's and even before that you could not have obviuosly been through it all.

"while most people were off buying monsoons and tenzo shu shu's. The good stuff was lying on the shelf on clearance brand new. i.e: TypeX, sparco nsII, BBR comps, GAB, weds, RC starcks, Work RS series, Racing harts in 15", Precedeo"

In your dreams, I waited 6 months to get some racing hart tracers back in 96 because no one had them anywhere I called or went in so cal. Type X - negative there were very few people who had them on the shelves anywhere and those that did were not discounting them. Since the z speeds were only slightly easier to come buy I went through a set of silver and black and never got a reasonable deal on them. There are several other wheels there that were less than abundant IE "rare" for other reasons like the BBR's no one discounted those because no one had them. I tried for several months to get them from from robo car, pit crew and a couple others. I used to drive pretty far to pick stuff up from group 5 and it was the same in SD then. Even the sparco's in 17in for the vipers were 16~1700 and there was a waiting list, black racing phantoms which I had a set of and I remeber a whole bunch of times calling crimson and golden apple and neither one had rims like that just sitting there. Damn way back when CNC was still "Chris and Clayton" and chris went on to form PPI and tanked that bitch. Damn long long ago

And I had quite a few friends that were into this stuff as well we'd always gang up on shops and try to get them to carry stuff. Since thievery has been rampant since 99 and the older rims really weak I stopped buying that stuff along time ago.

I agree with Senses, if these were made in the US and manufactured by some us brand like ADR or RS limited, people would knock them all day long, i guess there too JDM for me, i dont feel them in the slightest way

Modified by e9 at 7:18 PM 9/8/2005</TD></TR></TABLE>dude you have no idea what I gone through do you, I said before I have lived through most of it, 13 yrs of it 92-2005, what am i missing something that's not most of it you said mid 80's so I guess I only missed it by only 7yrs or so, I would say that's most of it if not what do you call it, like I also said before I have been watching and learning since 92 not driving but learning and watching get it right next time, I was though draging at terminal island before I was old enough to drive, so who cares if I had or didn't have my car then or not it just made me that much smarter when time came for me to buy my own car and fix it up.
