Can anyone confirm that the RSX Type S front calipers are the same as the S2000 front calipers? is so, why are soo many people utilizing s2k calipers over the rsx type s ones?

i think the calipers are the same but not 100% sure, but rsx-s rotors are different from s2000 rotors

S2000 rotors don't have the proper hub for civics/integras. The s2000 and RSX-S rotor are the same diameter, but the RSX-S rotor has the proper sized hub. That's why we use that for hybrid setups.

What's "big" about any of those brakes? Can't really see the brembos.

They're all big compared to what came on the cars (except for the spoon stuff - which is just physically bigger but uses the same pads).

I gotcha, brakes look big on the ITR, I guess the big wheels on the nissan make the brakes look underwhelming.

I ask if big brakes, am I required to change the brain brake cylinder or the meter of my civic ej for this style of big brake?

Custom made front adapters (by me), 12.0" rotors, they are lighter than Integra front stock discs. Calipers from a Ferrari F430:

can get them on ebay under $600 and i assume that if you know someone running the yard or you work where the car is being parted, you can get them a lot cheaper
