Almond Cream is the 88-89 Civic DX stock color and Fiji Blue has been around for years but is freshly noted on the new Civic SI's "it's the dark blue pearl lookin paint"... Just tryna see what everyones idea's of clean an fresh are.. I'm stickin JDM so w/e I do is gonna be clean as hell, but basic... I'm thinkin like an Almond Cream Paintjob and doing black trim and accessories "wheels and ****".. Or doing Fiji Blue and throwin on some white wheels... Just curious since i've seen pics of both and they are really sick lookin..

On your civic, definitely the Almond Cream. And having that red strip on the moldings of your car will set it off. It'll look good.

Now, you can't go wrong with Fiji Blue, but your civic is the only car I'd love to see an Almond Cream color on.

damn bro ur friends almond cream hatch is super sick... fiji blue is definitely off the chain, that was my first choice and i thought i was stickin to it, but as i was reading 408WDY's writeup on his EF being put together, i seen that his **** was almond cream with white wheels and that thing is SICKKKKKKKKKKKK... But i did also see you'r fiji blue hatch in another thread "i think about the color fji blue" and was definitely attracted... I wonder which ones cheaper lol..

To me is like a color used for interior designing for homes.

"Fiji Blue"

Looks more like Daytona Blue from the 350z's, nice color tone.

Thanks for the feedback guys, im still kinda like 70/30 towards the Fiji Blue but just something about that Almond Cream seems to stand out, dunno what it is though.. Maybe just cuz it's so different ya kno, at least i've never seen one in person down here... Same with the Fiji Blue also however, it's sick cuz its pretty different..

That's what inspired me to do an EG like that, was Woody's ****... Woodys EF is off the [freak]in chain...

I see the Fiji Blue as the next "everyone is doing it" color just like Electron Blue Pearl was shortly after the 99-00 Si coupes hit the dealerships. No offense to anyone with the blue - it's just an observation.

I like the Almond Cream better personally. I think it's an understated color, while the blue just screams for attention - if you want to really stick out go for the blue IMO, but I think the Cream is a smoother, better looking color for the EG IMO.

haha yeah bro that Almond color to me, just seems like a way more low key clean color.. Unlike the blue that is gasping for attention.. I just had my whip stolen and i'm not trying to go through that complete loss again, and for some reason something is telling me thieves would be more after that blue than an almond cream "although thieves are color blind and will steal w/e they can" I just think I have better chances with the almond... Plus that Fiji Blue once said and done runs about $2000+, unlike the almond cream which I can get done for about a $1000...
