I'll give some constructive criticism. The grill and bumper inserts seem to have been reversed in color. If you were to paint the grill orange and have left the bumper inserts black, it would appear much cleaner. Also an oem lip would do wonders for the front end. I think the insides of the wheels should match the faces since we can see it even in pictures. The exhaust is pretty much hideous though. It sticks out way too far past the bumper. Try and line up the hood with the front corner of the fenders as well. Oh, and I do like the color. Not a bad start per say.

You could have left it orange and not been a typically seen color. But I'm afraid to admit you really aren't that unique, you just grabbed some random neon colors that a hellaflush or slammed fanboy hasn't got ahold of yet. You're still following a trend, just grabbing two colors(that clash really hard btw) to act like you're ahead of the game.

I think you are trying WAY too hard to be different, trends these days are very "persuasive". So many biters
What happened to the days of subtlety, clean lines and saving up abit of extra money to do things properly (body work/paint) along with good quality parts (volks) not rotas.
I must be getting old...... if this is what is "popular" now.
no offence, but this example is poorly executed. I doubt you will see much love from veteran H-T'rs, maybe some love from 2008+ members. =cP
If you are happy with it, that's all that matters...

I agree with what pretty much everyone else has said. From the pics tho it seems like there is a bit of orange peel in the paint, I would start with a good wet sand and buff to get the paint to shine up nice and then start tackling the various other things mentioned. My $0.02.

First off, I'm not trying to hard , I have a lot of patience and I let my ideas come to me.. Second of all, the car is not finished. Still needs to be wet sanded and there are a couple spots that need to be touched up. I am happy with it so far knowing that it's not finished. When it's finished I'll be back to put up new pics. Thanks for the comments

Re: My Magma Orange EK with Purple Rota Grids - What do you think?
I didn't just "grab" some random neon colors. A lot of thought went into the color combination. First off, I'm a female and I wanted some sort of "girly" color so I chose purple for the wheels, then I wanted a color that "I" have not seen on an EK before, I saw one of the original special edition VW GTI and I fell in love with the color. It's not about the game for me, it's about what I like, if you don't like it, that's on you. Thanks though

wheels gotta go.. period, the paint is nice but does not flow well with the tail lights. other than that, it's a good start.
it's just too showy for me.
