MY DIY polished hx's (oregon)
So after 4 days of aircrafting, wet sanding, getting blister on my hands, and polishing this is my DIY polished hx rims
aircraft remover in the can---spray it all over the rim, let sit for 15 mins, wip down then rinse off, then repeat x2 times.
600-800 grit wet sand down the outter walls, lip, and all polished area, make sure u go with the grain, dont do up ,down ,right, left , you will be wet sanding for about 2-3 hours depending on how fast u want them done..lol
gloves cuss the **** burns bad
rags for wiping down the rims
pressure washer to rinse the rims, once u have all the oem paint off and can start to polish them
i used mother's chrome polish /applyed it with a lil buffing dabber, then used a reg towel, once it turns to a black mildo, wipe hard with a microfiber towel, trust me you want the micro fiber, makes them BLING BLING.
And once your done with all of that you get this:
