japan's price on rota wheels???
just found this very ironic...there are sellers on yahoo japan auctions selling sets of brand new rota rims for $1341
http://page10.auctions.yahoo.c...49007
http://page10.auctions.yahoo.c...48741
and some of the pics in the auction seem to be random h-t members (no surprise)...lol
happy bidding!

you mean m7's right? they do actually use the rims on tracks though...so i guess they can't suck that bad... (just opened up a can of worms)

Re: (accordselux)
how much do volks cost there? Anyone else notice that they are using pictures of American cars in their ad? Maybe they dont use them either, just selling them for some cash.

there's no way a company would invest on using cast iron wheels for a LeMans race. It's also some rule. Rota doesn't make 18x13 One lug forged mag wheels.
track wheels or not. I have yet to see a real track car use rota wheels. Minor road racing and drag racing isn't hard core enough btw. VIA JIL is more than enough to make wheels capable of normal wear. The excuse of "they work fine for track" is lame. Any wheels that went through inspection is good for minor track racing. ADR, AeroSpeed, APC, Matrix, Motegi, etc.
When I say real track cars, i really mean JGTC type of races. And 7 sec funny car drag racing.
