Re: HT's Favorite EK hatch part two
Did you happen to notice the custom cage work done to this ek?
The harness bar, & rear cage are nice "as ****"!
Sure all the little JDM nicknaks, & neon rims are over the top, but the interior is clean.
Remove the bread basket, & paint the rims, its a decent EK imo.
What does your Honda look like?

Re: HT's Favorite EK hatch part two
I wasn't calling you out, just curious to see what your car looks like.
Looking for inspiration.
Love your EK clean as ****, but it falls into the category of most (including mine).
They all look the same after a while.
Mine has authentic CTR lip kit, gauge, etc, but it still falls into the crowd full of replicas.
Yes the die hard can spot the differences, but it doesn't give them a right to be a snobs/elitists.
Sure the pics I posted are over the top, but he/she made it theirs.
It's unique in its own way. Not my style, nor my fave, but it made me look.
End of the day they're all civics.
Doesn't matter how much $$$ we throw @ them, they're always going to be civics.
As long as we make them our own, who's to say what's "right or wrong"?
We do it for ourselves.
I don't care if no one likes my cars, they're mine, & I like them the way I mod them.
No need to hate on others cause it doesn't meet your standards.

some of my personal favorites from over the years:
start it off with the EKsquadfather Chris pre-makeover:
there's so much more...but that will do for now.

Re: HT's Favorite EK hatch part two
Only the yellow one who belonged to a fellow from AJ Racing in 02-03'ish, and then Ben's (owner of AJR) EK is the white one from around the same time.
Silverstone one is ATS*Mark's old car from the previous page, Midori is Danville who is from Winnipeg. I don't know if he has his car still?

Re: HT's Favorite EK hatch part two
I remember seeing the yellow one a few time back in the day.
There's a few white 1s that are/were similar to that 1 back then too, I'm sure I've seen Bens EK around too.
It's been awhile since I've seen 1s as clean as those tho.
I was into EGs I those days, the EK got no love from me back then.:D
I'm quite late to the "EK luv" scene. Lol
Really just had to scratch my Honda itch again.
Been out of the scene for awhile, got a EJ1 with a B16a swap, but really wanted a hatch.
Now I have a EK too, It has Z6 built for boost.
Now @ a fork in the road...
F/I or N/A? Boost the Z6, another B series(luv the b series!), or join the K swap crowd.
Have my eyes set on a K20A2, but a have a lock on a K24A2 (2005).
End or rant/hijack...
