I like how my stock suspension feels because it is not bumpy so you can feel the road. I'm thinking of lowering it 1 and half inch only. Planning on getting lowering springs from Eibach. How will it affect my ride? More bumpy or hard. I prefer hard anyway. So what is the appropriate drop in inch for my Civic SI to still be usable? Also my driveway is on a slope that has a bump. That is another reason i don't want it to be too low.

The lower you go the more the quality of your ride will suffer. An inch and a half is nothing shouldn't be very noticeable.

1.5in will look good and remain functional. Id go about as low as 2in if you dont want to do any other work and claim to be functional.
Work under the fenders and you can make even lower functional.
