Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification (ThatsMyEG)
very nice mods... the only thing i would change would be a cup holder from a ford taurus instead of the pocket under the stereo...

Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification (hatchiedave)
had one in there before, didn't like how it looked, ... thinking about putting gauges in that slot.... and making cupholders for inside the jdm ferio armrest, although i don't like having food or drink in the car now that it has full interior again..

I had painted the dash panel with semi-gloss paint. It's too shiny for me as well. I'm going to redo it this upcoming Spring and paint it flat black so it blends in much better.

Consider Semi-flat black, it's a much better match to the factory dash color.

Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification Revisited
BACK AGAIN!!!
My latest creation, custom three gauge pod molded into the top dash vent.
Used three 90 degree elbows from plumbing section at local hardware store, cut them down and 'glassed them to the vent. Sanded down, bondo'ed, sanded, and painted.
Test fit prior to sanding and painting
Finished product
Total cost = approx. $5.00
You can do the same thing and use the easier route by purchasing an universal three gauge pod and mold it to the vent piece.... or be stubborn like me, and make it yourself...

Re: 92 Civic Dashboard Modification
I like the way that turned out, it's something I've always wanted to do. What's more impressive is that you came back after all these years and reposted the pics LOL
