2004 Exotic Italian Car Show in Memphis TN (many many many pics)
So as I said in my teaser thread last night, I attended this car show yesterday, and let's just say my jaw was dragging the ground almost the whole time. Well on with the rest of the pics...
Of course the highlight of the show was the Enzo owned by a local lawyer, one of his 4 Ferraris that were all at the show. This thing had a crowd around it nonstop all day long. He revved it up a couple of times, at which point everybody came running so they could all go
Suspension includes cantilevered fully adjustable dampers with remote reservoirs:
Computer controlled paddle shifting (no clutch pedal):
Single center-locking wheel nut:
Carbon fiber headlight housings, of course the whole car is pretty much carbon fiber
His F50, sitting right next to the Enzo:
60V V12 engine:
Cantilevered suspension again, fully adjustable, with cockpit-adjustable damping:
Muffler, using links w/ heim joints to hold it in place:
Carbon fiber taillight housing and wheel house:
I believe his other 2 Ferraris are both 550's:
335/25-ZR19 tires in back
2004 Lamborghini Murcielago:
Separate dedicated parking brake calipers:
Conveniently located "OH SH#!" handle
More carbon fiber
Push down on the indented part to flip up the other end of the door lever, then pull to open the door:
Yes the car is really THAT low, original factory ride height
Window sticker
The all new 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo, V10 engine. This is the first time Lamborghini has ever had two super car model out simultaneously, although it is a whole $100,000 less than the Murcielago:
There were a few of the new Maseratis which are being sold in the US, which marks their reintroduction into the US market... this one is race prepared:
Lotus Esprit
An odd little fellow, the Qvale Mangusta:
Various other Ferraris, old and new:
They even had an RC course set up w/ some battery and nitro cars running
And I'm spent...

Yeah I know, I was kinda disappointed that no F40 was there... oh well, the Enzo more than makes up for it, although I would have loved to see the 2.8L DOHC twin turbo / twin intercooled V8 up close and in person.
I dunno who the dude defends, but I can ask my friend at Starbucks next time I'm working.

Dude, Enzos are bringing in around $1.5M in private sales, already appreciated to over twice its original value... dang that's better than real estate appreciation
The mansion seen in the pics is actually a museum now, called the Pink Palace Museum. It has an addition on one side w/ more exhibits, planetarium, IMAX theater, etc.

Re: (ebelp)
thanks, sweet cars and pics. My dream car of all time = Lamborghini Diablo. But i would not mind buying a Ferrari F-50 if i had the $$$$$$. i respect the Enzo, but in my opinion the F-50 looks better.
