I have a 2004 Accord LX, approx. 85,000 miles. About a month ago, I noticed that the back light on my radio/clock display would go dim then brighten back up periodically. Around the same time, the CD player would have trouble reading CD's. Then the radio would just shut off on its own, but would turn back on when I hit the power button. Now about two weeks ago the radio stopped working completely and the CD player wont even "suck" the CD into the player. My first thought was to check the fuse box. I pulled the radio fuse and it wasn't blown. I put the fuse back into the box and POOF! the radio works!!.... for about a day and a half. Then the same thing happened, the radio would not go on at all. Once again, I pulled the fuse and upon putting it back in the radio worked for about a day. I checked all the fuses in the box, and none of them are blown. Does anybody have ANY idea what could be the problem here? Because I've spoken to many people and everybody seems to be stumped. The fuse may not be blown.... but weak on power.
I really don't know. I too have a 2004 coupe LX.... 90,000miles (No problems with my baby!!!)
I would just replace the fuse... they are only a few bucks...

If that doesn't work, just go to Honda.... they seriously don't charge all that much. Especially seeing how you KNOW it is getting taken care of PROPERLY!! None of those cheap *** radio shops, who are just willing to empty your wallet!!!

Sorry, I forgot to include in the original post... I did change the fuse already. And its STILL acting up; But I suppose my best bet is taking it to the dealer. Thanks for the info.
