puting a 5 speed rsx trany in an 03acoord
i was jus wondering if the 5 speed rsx tranny would bolt right up to my 2003 accord??? and would i have to change the flywheel and the clutch??? has any one ever done this???? the reason im asking this is because there is a grinding sound thats coming form the clutch or tranny. everytime i start up the car it and let go of the clutch it would start grinding. when i put my foot back on to the clutch it stops.... it still goes in very gear and it moves kind of. i dont know what the problem could be... if anyone knows pleas help... thanks

Sounds like a bad mainshaft bearing if it's making noise when you release the clutch pedal while sitting still in neutral.
It isn't the release bearing, otherwise it would make noise with the clutch pedal pushed in.
